​His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council watched the first Brunei International Wushu Championship 2024 and the closing ceremony. The championship took place on 5th May morning, at the Youth Centre, Bandar Seri Begawan.

On the final day, several categories were competed including Men's Gunshu Freestyle; Men's Nangun Freestyle; and Group C Women's Jianshu.

His Royal Highness presented certificates and prizes to the team managers, as well as medals to the winners in the Women's Nanquan and Men's Duilian Group C categories. The Brunei Darussalam Wushu team emerged as the overall champion after collecting 29 gold medals, 13 silvers, and 13 bronzes.
